DR. IAN’S 4- DAY DIET
Dr. Ian Smith’s program keeps you involved with the basics of losing weight. Eating a good diet and regular physical activity. Smith claims that when we stay with the basics we will be less likely to quit and we will be able to overcome tall obstacles. The 4-Day Diet is not simply a diet that is only 4 days, it is a program set up into 7 different diet modules that each last 4 days. This helps us to not get bored with to much repetition. The Seven Modules-
The seven modules will help keep variety in our meals so you don’t get bored from eating the same food everyday.
- The Induction Module will cleanse our body of any toxins that have built up.
- The Transition Module reintroduces more foods than what you were aloud in the Induction Module
- The Protein Stretch Module- is 4 days of loading you up on protein.
- The Smooth Module- gives you four days of your favorite food with out overindulging yourself.
- The Push Module- Is a module designed to keep you motivated.
- The Pace Module keeps you moving forward.
- The Vigorous Module- is the final lap, when it is hard to push yourself; it will challenge you the most.
When you accomplish each Module you then can repeat them again in any order you would like. Each module consists of different ingredients, but mostly focuses on fruit, vegetables, low fat dairy, lean protein, whole grains, legumes, nuts, avocados, and low calories and fat.
