Is ReZolution a Diet Pill That Works?

D is for ‘dieting.’  D is also for ‘depression’, ‘desperation’ and ‘despondency’– all emotions you will probably experience if you’re doing the former.

Well I start one every January 1st–and end it by January 27-ish.  Has LG Sciences come up with a ‘rezolution’ that works for the despairing dieter?  Can ReZolution really be a ‘happy diet pill’ that will make you feel good about dieting?  Does ReZolution work?  Keep reading…

How Does ReZolution Work?

ReZolution works two ways; first by including stimulants to raise heart rate and metabolism, thus promoting fat burning.  And more important is ReZolutions revolutionary ‘mood enhancing’ approach to weight loss.  Apparently when you eat you release Dopamine, a hormone that gives you a ‘high’ and makes you feel like all’s right in the world.  Too much eating will turn you into a snack-attacking lunatic as the dopamine continues to be leaked into your blood stream.  But just the right amount–prolonged over time–will give you the high–without over-stuffing your face.  And if it’s delivered in a diet pill–well, it’s released into your blood stream before you even eat, and you’ll feel satiated, happy and content and not prone to eat much at all.  That’s the theory anyway. 

Will ReZolution work?  The proof will be in the dopamine-saturated pudding (the ingredients):

Stimulants Complex:

• Caffeine Anhydrous-you all know what caffeine is; a stimulant that starts your heart racing like a A-rated movie star.  Revs up the metabolism to initiate fat burning.
• Bitter Orange-contains synephrine, the ‘new safe ephedra’. Another stimulant for metabolism and fat burning.  
• 1,2 Dimethylamylamine-known to be as potent as a burst of adrenaline; as such you can expect your heart rate to go up like someones beaten you in an alley.  Maybe.  

Dopamine Complex:

• Psoralea Corylifoliae-blocks dopamine from receding too quickly so you stay on the ‘high’ associated with eating longer, and do not feel the urge to keep eating.
• Chaenomeles Speciosa-similar to Psoralea, this herbal blocks dopamine from receding.  
• N-Acetyl-Tyrosine-an amino acid that’s a secondary precursor to dopaline and provides natural boosts to your dopaline levels.

Here’s where I get to be disappointed.  Sigh.  I hate being disappointed–it makes me want to snack!  I love the idea behind this product, but where’s the beef?  LG Sciences does not disclose ingredient quantities (or even the complex quantities) in this product.  And the fact that they’re thrown into a complex at all is horripilatious (my new word.)  Complex is another name for proprietary blend.  Proprietary blend is basically a fancy way of saying ‘mixture containing unknown and probably ineffective quantities of poo.’  (‘Poo’ is not a technical term and this is a clear indication of why I am a writer and not a scientist; but you get my gist.)

The ReZolution Guarantee

There is no guarantee offered anywhere on LG Science’s website.  This is my second disappointment of the day–well third if you count Wal-Mart only having caffeine-free diet coke in stock.  A lack of refund means a lack of confidence in their product.  If the manufacturer has a lack of confidence in their product working, shouldn’t you?  I’m just sayin’…

Does ReZolution Work For Quick Weight Loss?

ReZolution does contain three stimulants.  As such you may well experience a buzz and increased energy.  There’s nothing in it for appetite suppression however, as I’m not convinced the dopamine-thingie will really make you so happy that food will repel you.  As with most products you’ll probably experience some water weight loss, but I wouldn’t expect anything beyond that.  The ingredient quantities are bound to render disappointing results.   

We like the science ReZolution is trying to deliver, but we prefer when a company uses clinically tested and proven weight loss ingredients–and lots of them–and markets them in the correct, and publicly accessible dosages.
