Is Diet 360 a Diet Pill That Works?

Diet 360 by Garden of Life is a bit of a contradiction.  It claims to cover all ‘angles’ of weight loss (hence the ’360′-get it?), but falls miserably short.  I am reminded of a ballet class I attempted last year and my weak excuse for a pirouette..  Yeah, it’s kind of like that. 

A good diet pill covers all aspects of weight loss; appetite suppression, fat burning, metabolism and energy enhancement, leveling out glucose levels so sugar is used for energy and not stored as fat, fiber for–well you know, mood enhancers and some quality antioxidants like Green Tea or Resveratrol for good measure. 

Diet 360 doesn’t offer that.  It claims that we should figure out why we’re gaining weight-are we stressed, do we eat compulsively, do genetics come into play-and address those issues.  Then Diet 360 will assist.  The problem being Diet 360 only offers solutions to two of the key elements associated with weight gain-stress and balancing blood sugar.  Here’s my issue with that; if you’re looking at a diet pill for help, haven’t you already tried everything and are looking at new avenues to get what you need?  Why therefore would you go to a diet pill that only addresses a few of weight loss’s many problems?  Wouldn’t you spend your hard-earned moola on something that covers all your bases?  It sounds to me like Diet 360 is more like Diet ’180′ and they’re attempting to use marketing to cover up a weak product.!

How Does Diet 360 Work?

Diet 360 is comprised of a 412 mg proprietary blend.  Let me tell you a little secret about proprietary blends.  They are usually useless-especially if they’re under a 1,000 mg dosage.  They are also a ‘mix’ of different ingredients and the majority of the time a company will not divulge individual dosage amounts of each ingredient.  That’s because you’re not getting enough of the good stuff for it to be effective.  So beware.  Proprietary blends sound scientific but they’re no bueno.  And 412 mg?  PAH!

Here’s what’s in Diet 360:

Coconut Oil-purportedly raises metabolism.  I personally like to slather myself with coconut oil whilst tanning.  There is no clinical evidence to support it helping with weight loss.

Blueberry Leaf Extract-may help to control glucose levels so sugar is used for energy rather than stored as fat. Blueberries are also high in antioxidants which slow down the effects of aging and disease.  There is no clinical proof backing this ingredient.

SlimPure Decaffeinated Green Coffee Extract-purported to stimulate metabolism.  But how can a “DE” caffeinated ingredient stimulate metabolism when the key element (caffeine) is missing?  This ingredient may be side effect-free, but is it also effect-free?  No clinical evidence to back this ingredient for weight loss.

Ashwagandha Root and Leaf Extract-thought to lower stress levels and enhance mood.  No clinical proof.

Brown Seaweed Concentrate-this is the jewel in Diet 360′s crown and I’m glad it has one!  Brown Seaweed (aka Fucoxanthin) has actually undergone clinical trial with excellent results.  High in antioxidants, it’s been catalogued as helping with abdominal fat and raising metabolism.  In a 412 mg blend however you’re not getting anywhere near the clinical dosage.

Bayberry Bark Extract-another ingredient to help maintain healthy glucose levels so sugar is burned and not stored.  No clinical proof backs this ingredient.

So in summary you’ve got one clinically tested and proven weight loss ingredient in this mess; Fucoxanthin.  The other ingredients are unproven herbals.  Not that I’m dissing herbal ingredients, holistic care is a wonderful safe alternative to often harsh pharmaceuticals.  But you can find diet pills out there that contain safe, clinically tested and effective ingredients that don’t rely on folklore.  Also this blend is way too low to do much more than turn your pee yellow!

Folks there is no guarantee.  Garden of Life offers a list of retailers from whence to purchase and prices start at $41!  That is not cheap!  Most retailers will not refund on opened product.  If you buy Diet 360, you’re stuck with it. 

Does Diet 360 Work For Quick Weight Loss?

I am not hesitating when I say Diet 360 will not work at all.  There is simply not enough in it.  It’s like biting into a burger and getting a mouth full of stale lettuce and tomato.  “Where’s the beef?”  (Sorry, probably shouldn’t have used a fast food analogy!) Diet 360 will only take you round and round in frustrating circles like a dog after its own tail as you chase weight loss.  I do agree with Garden of Life’s ‘look within’ philosophy-we should all review what we’re doing to sabotage ourselves and recommit to healthier living.  But when we spend $41, we need to ensure we’re purchasing a top-rated diet pill that works.  They’re out there and “cover all angles.”  Good luck!
