What is SparkPeople.com?
SparkPeople is a health and weight-loss website that teaches users how to help people transition from a diet to a permanent healthy lifestyle. The site has many cool features including personalized online tools, engaging proprietary content and a pretty active community of users.
I have never heard of SparkPeople, or the Spark Diet per se, but what I was able to find out is that the website, Sparkpeople.com, published a New Times Best Selling diet book called “The Spark: The 28-Day Breakthrough Plan for Losing Weight, Getting Fit, and Transforming Your Life”.

If that sounds a little ’salesy’ (sales-ish?) it is because I pulled it directly from their website.
